Biography
Raymond Tay had been very involved in leadership and community since his young days; such as serving St. John Ambulance Brigade for more than 8 years as Training Officer and helped out in many youth programmes like Financial Literacy in BEYOND Social Services, “What Makes a Young Champion?” forum, Camp STARS and Inter-varsity Sports Day. He also joined and served as Vice-President (membership) of Tiarel Toastmasters Club to improve his facilitation and public speaking skills. Through the Spirit of Enterprise, he interviewed several successful entrepreneurs and was part of the Alumni EXCO to organise forums like “Celebpreneur Uncovered”. He enjoys the nature and sports like jogging, cycling and swimming. He reads personal development books and watches inspiring movies.

He designs, develops and delivers tailored training programmes for adult learners, community leaders, youths and other clients to improve their competencies and other qualities so that they can contribute more effectively to their organisations or communities. He coordinates and emcees seminars, talks and camps like Ministry Dialogue Series, Community Xchange, Learning Networks, ASEAN Youth Camp 2013. His clients and audience comprise youth and adult participants from the community, organisations, corporates and schools such as NEA, MOHH, People’s Association, Burger King, NUS, SIM, TP, ITE College Central, etc. He has also participated and involved community projects/ events such as house visits, tours with elderly, kite making with low income kids and cleaning rental flats.

He is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Other professional development courses he attended include Mediation: Strategic Conflict Management for Professionals, SPOT on Facilitation, Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective College Students, Eric Jensen’s Learning Skills & Engagement for Underperforming Students, Jim Cain’s Teamwork & Teamplay and Youth Theories.
